This for me is the most powerful tune I've done, with influences from early Depeche Mode to Welsh male voice choirs. I've been crafting it sonically for over a week getting all the myriad parts to sit together in a coherent mix. The outro was a real joy as I wanted everything to close in on the listener only for the final hit to explode outwards in a stereophonic starburst.
As far as the lyric goes, I am not a religious man, but I do have a strong affinity towards those who are. Sadly, there are also very bad people who use their faith as a weapon against those who do not follow their version. For as long as those people exist I am at best agnostic and at worst, atheistic.
